Huazhuo Technology carried a three-axis transparent plastic laser welding machine, a quasi-synchronous plastic laser welding machine, and an ultraviolet laser marking machine at ICMD in spring 2019 to demonstrate transparent plastic laser welding, which can replace medical adhesives.

The application of plastics in the medical field is very attractive, and most of the broad-spectrum medical consumables are mainly made of transparent plastics. With the development of the medical industry, more and more medical plastics are used in high value-added medical devices, and the connection requirements for plastics are becoming more and more strict.

Laser welding is more and more widely used in various fields of medical devices due to its advantages of local heating, precision machining, and non-contact heating. Plastic laser welding equipment can replace medical adhesives in certain fields and reduce the production cost of medical plastics. Compared with other commonly used welding techniques, laser welding technology produces almost no welding slag and debris, and does not need to add any adhesive during the welding process, so the entire welding work can be completed in a clean room, especially for transparent plastic medical Welding production of equipment and other products.
